Margie D. Adelman, former president of the TransMedia Group in Boca Raton, Fl., announces the opening of Adelman Global Communications Inc., a full service public relations firm specializing in the health care industry, Internet marketing, and financial relations.
"With over 20 years of solid experience in the public relations field focused on nations media relations, I believe my expertise and extensive knowledge of the communications arena will serve my clients well and provide them with the national media exposure they desire." said Adelman.
Adelman's formal education in the health and nutrition fields, combined wit her top-notch media relations skills, have earned her the impressive ranking of being one of the nation's top health and medical publicists.
For the past seven years, Adelman has concentrated her efforts on building TransMedia into a PR powerhouse and helped grow it into one of the top five PR firms in the state of Florida. Under her direction as president, the agency's revenues tripled in the last three years. She supervised all of the firm's accounts and personally handled its largest clients.
In 1999, Adelman conducted a worldwide publicity campaign for vitamin giant Rexall Sundown, which generated in excess of $50 million in publicity for Cellasene, the first all-natural generated dietary supplement that helps reduce cellulite. Much of the campaign's success was attributed to a segment on NBC-TV's Dateline and The Today Show, which Adelman arranged and executed. The dynamic Cellasene campaign also was fueled by numerous national print articles and television segments she secured.
In addition, Adelman prides herself on providing high-quality, professional communications delivered with a level of excellence few PR practitioners can match. In 1992, she received the "Publicist of the Year" award; in 1997, she was named "Up and Comer'; and in 1998, Soroptomist International awarded her the "Women of Distinction" honor.
